Sherwood Forest Faire
Policies, Rules, Regulations and General Information
Outside Food and Drink:
No outside food and drink is permitted within the Faire Grounds. There are numerous Food and Drink Booths scattered throughout Sherwood Forest Faire . No coolers permitted through the front gate.
Alcohol:
Fantastic Beer, Wine and Ale can be found within Sherwood Forest Faire -some domestic and some imported. Be prepared to show your authentic state issued ID as proof of age. No one under 21 will be served alcohol, as per State of Texas Law.
Behavior:
Sherwood Forest Faire is family-friendly. Obscene, rude, unruly behavior will not be tolerated. Faire Security is instructed to remove anyone who is belligerent, drunk or otherwise exhibiting unacceptable behavior.
Weapons:
No firearms are allowed on the grounds or in the parking lot. Costume weapons may be worn, provided they are peace-tied at all times.
Security:
Faire Security will be provided by State of Texas licensed police officers. Abide by the rules of the Faire and laws of Texas-and all will be fine.
Pet Policy:
No pets are allowed on the Faire grounds except service animals.
Re-entry:
If leaving the Faire grounds during the day, one must have his/her hand stamped for free same day re-entry. Otherwise, purchase of another ticket will be required.
Camping:
Great Patron camping is available on the grounds for Friday and Saturday evenings. The camp site must be vacated by 12 noon Monday. The fee for the weekend camping is $5.00 per person. There are presently no RV Hookups. Restrooms are available. More planned for the Patron Camping experience. See "Camping" link on website

First Aid:
Sherwood Forest Faire will contract with regional EMT services to have ambulance and paramedical personnel staffing the First Aid Station beside the Joust area. Likewise, all Security are able to contact the First Aid personnel via walkie-talkies.
Lost and Found:
Check with the Will-Call Booth for Lost and Found items. There will be a form to complete if misplaced item has not be returned to Will-Call. The Faire will contact persons via email if item is found. All items which go unclaimed will be donated to local charities two weeks after the last day of the Faire season.
Philanthropy:
The proceeds from the Wishing Well will go to "Make a Wish Foundation." Throw your loose change in the well, make a wish, and help a child's wish come true by doing so.
A donation will be made by the Faire each season to Rescue, a private not-for-profit, 501©3, which assists the Rennies who travel the renaissance circuit and act as entertainers, work in games and booths, etc. with medical bills. If anyone would like to contribute, there will be a box at the front gate to make a donation.
ATMs/Credit Cards:
ATMs will be located at the front gate. New locations will be added as the need arises, based upon volume.
Most vendors accept Mastercard and Visa for purchases of their wares. Games, Food and Drink vendors accept only cash. There may be exceptions to this based upon individual vendors.
Photo and Film Policy:
Photos for one's personal enjoyment are permitted/encouraged. Filming or recording of any stage performance in its entirety without the express permission of the artist is prohibited. All film rights are reserved. Commercial film and sound recordings with respect to the Sherwood Forest Faire are expressly reserved. Commercial use of photographs, movies, tape or video of the Sherwood Forest Faire without the written consent of management is strictly prohibited.

Show Dates & Times:
The Faire opens Saturday, February 27 th , 2010, and runs Saturdays and Sundays for six weekends, ending April 4 th , 2010.
The show opens to the public on each show day at 10am and closes at dusk.
