Acrobatrix is a two-person comedy circus spectacular–fiery aerialist plus charismatic juggler equals a show that will bring the house down. Surprises and thrills delight the audience with over-the-top feats of strength, agility, and absurdity. Roxie and Thunder are the perfect couple, but there are only two things that can ruin this relationship: he’s one and she’s the other!

n an effort to share the enchantment of our forest with more folks, we gather volunteers from all over the country to interpret and co-navigate curated schedules of shows and activities during our 5th weekend. Everyone deserves the chance to be enriched with the magic and joy we create together here at Sherwood Forest Faire! If you pay close attention, you'll see staff and cast members signing, too!

Lady Belz invites you to sit for a spell and enjoy the tranquility of the forest at her small fenced-in homestead complete with a faery cottage and lily pond.
Adult content, adult humor, and graphic violence
Oscar Hasselhoff presents four international fighting champions, masters of the Western martial arts, who pit their strength and brutality against each other at the Combat Arena near the Scarlet Maze. Also, be sure to check out Herr Hasselhoff's Adult School of Sword and Children's School of Sword!
While on Crusade, Bodhi decided he'd had enough of battles and conflict, so he decided to learn the magical arts he saw in the bazaars of the Holy Lands. He has brought this magic to you here at Sherwood Forest. See him on the Faire’s first five weekends at the Grove Stage and wandering the lanes of the forest.
As the birthplace of some of the most famous stories in the world, Sherwood Forest is home to some amazing writers like Andrea Heavin, Rich Knoll, and April Henley. On select weekends, come and meet these published yarn weavers under the trees near the Front Gate. They’ll have their original books available and signing plumes at the ready.

On a visit from the Dragons’ Keep, the lady April (whom the fae call Artemis) brings us a story of literature’s oldest and most famous wizard, Merlin. And she spins the tale in a unique book, the world’s first novel coloring book! Color stunning illustrations as you read of Merlin’s final feats of magic in his quest to save the magical races from disappearing from the world. The lady is a spinner of fantasy, a chronicler of the magical races, and when she is not writing stories, she enjoys whimsical foods, travel, and the mysteries of our world.

In this year 1193, King Richard has been imprisoned by the greedy Duke Leopold of Austria, who has come to England to collect a hefty sum for The Lionhearts’ release. King Philip of France has also arrived in Nottinghamshire to see to his own deceitful interests. With a King’s ransom in the balance, Prince John plans to crown himself King. England looks to our hero, Robin Hood, to keep the throne from falling into the hands of a traitor. Come to the castle near day's end for an action-packed display of sword fighting, archery, and a fiery finish!

Come and watch your children learn the basics of swordplay in a hands-on experience that is fun for all ages. Herr Hasselhoff will teach your young ones not only how to defend and attack, but he will also teach them to respect the danger of wielding a weapon. DO NOT BE LATE! This show takes place at the Combat Arena near the Scarlet Maze.
Sunday mornings only
Join our village cleric, Monk Michael, and the Sherwood villagers for a 20-minute non-denominational church service each Sunday morning at Maid Marian's Chapel. All souls are welcome of any faith and walk of life.

Clan Tynker is a family troupe with a stunning array of talents. Set to live music, the show culminates with a dizzying array of dangerous stunts and climaxes with a spectacular fire performance! Clan Tynker will hold court at the Greenwoode Theatre on Sherwood’s 3rd weekend.

Each faire day at the Falconer’s Stage the furry, friendly Bandit Beasts of Barnesdale hold a Costume Contest to find the best-dressed patrons who walk these woods. Come cheer for your favorite disguises!
Witness an eerie sight as these specters from beyond the veil wind through Sherwood Forest Faire each day to remind us that we are all mortal and united in the Danse of Death. “As we are, so shall you be!”
Mar 1 - 9 & Mar 21 - 30
The fiery magic of the desert genie -the mythic Djinn- and the soothing, yet invigorating rhythms of drums, Djinn & Tonics bring the magic of music, dancing, and fire to Three Stags Pub on Sherwood's fourth and fifth weekends. These servants of the unseen have travelled the world to bring you a tonic for the soul, and lift your spirits.

Each day of the faire in the mid-afternoon wondrous things start to happen. Across from Maid Marian's Chapel faeries start to gather in the Faery courtyard. Join them for a Tea Party that is just as hilarious as it is heart-warming. Light refreshments will be available to enjoy during the show.

Come see this rag-tag team of warriors get medieval on each other with swords, shields, and duels to the death at the Jugging Arena! Mercenary training and Jugging games take place throughout the day.
Join journeyman glassblower, Michael Alexander, a former apprentice of the artist and master glassblower Mark Haller, at the Glory Glassforge. A creative space where we cultivate curiosities, learn about the mystifying medium of molten glass, and take the time to explore the marvelous world around us.
Hands of Fatima belly dancers spin, sway, and swirl for you as their ensemble of vagabond minstrels translate these alluring dances into song. Just follow their magical rhythms to the Elven Hill Stage.

Sherwood's joust team holds full contact matches every day of the faire… but on the penultimate weekend, April 12th and 13th, the New Riders of the Golden Age hold a larger Jousting tournament with 6 to 8 knights, breaking hundreds of lances in pursuit of a $1,000 purse. May the best knight prevail!

Dr. Judas Lynch and Ms. Magnolia Strange present their Underwater Escape Stunt Show on our first six weekends at the Greenwoode Theatre, bringing you to the edge of your seat with fantastical narratives and death-defying stunts! Also, look for their Mind Reading Show late in the day.
Slip up to Hill Haven Hookah and you'll find Kimberly Larkspur dancing between gently glowing coals in a whirl of silk, flashing blades, and bubbling humor accompanied by the sounds of some of the finest musicians in the realm.
Learn about 12th Century Knighthood with Otto Von Burgundy and Raymond Toulouse, two hysterical figures of Medieval Europe! This action-packed show combines humor, history, and live fighting demos at their Knights Encampment close to The Seven Sisters Stone Circle.
Knights of the Grail (KOTG) is a program created by the Knights of King Richard who provide equine therapy to military veterans (as a 501c3 nonprofit). See the Knights of the Grail demonstrating their skills at the Joust Arena!

In this year of 1193, you can follow the continuing adventures of Robin Hood and his Merry Band of outlaws by finding the shaded shows on the daily schedule, including a final Castle Siege show near the day's end.
In Honor of the legendary Will the Bowman, Lady Aylish Stutely holds the Longbow Tournament at mid-afternoon at the Joust Arena. All archers will be using traditional longbows as they aim to claim prizes and bragging rights with their skills.

The World's Second Greatest Magician! Come join the party of this Chaotic Neutral Warlock as he demonstrates skills of illusion, enchantment, and even a bit of evocation at either The Greenwoode Theatre or the Three Celestials Stage, depending on the weekend. This chap just can’t keep still!

Madame Ghislaine invites you to be treated like royalty with wine, beer, or mead-tasting flights in her open-air pavilion behind Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem Pub. You'll also enjoy some special performances from Sherwood entertainers, including the extraordinary Al Cofrin on select weekends, while you are lavished with fine drinks and delightful snacks.

Queen Eleanor and her entourage of ladies and knights hold court in Sherwood's children's area, Once Upon a Time… where she is known to assign knighthoods to deserving young adventurers.
Robert du Bowyer, along with the King’s Company Archers, hold the Sherwood Royal Open Archery Tournament early afternoons at The Joust Arena. Archers with traditional bows of all kinds will compete daily for medals and legendary titles.

Alberto Lucio is an award-winning sand sculptor creating ephemeral pieces for the enjoyment of all. View these beautiful works of art, made from only water and sand, near The Horseman Stage. And late in the season, Alberto will invite some of his rival sculptors for a two-day Sculpt-Off somewhere on a sandy path in Sherwood Forest!
Experience the incredible powers of your mind with Saul Ravencraft. Wonder at what is revealed about the world beyond. Exhibitions will be given daily at The Horseman Stage for all curious seekers.
The Society for Creative Anachronism has planted their pavilion near the Villager's Square Stage. There they share their knowledge and mastery of medieval life, including the arts of combat, tailoring, crafts of the middle ages, and of course heraldry.

Starting on Sherwood’s third weekend, these incredible Fire dancers spin fiery forms in front of Sherwood Castle after the Pub Sing. Don’t miss this incendiary performance near the close of day.

We are excited to invite you to the Seven Sisters Sacred Stone Circle to celebrate Ostara, the Spring Equinox, on Saturday, March 22nd, at 9:30 PM with High Priestess Phoenix Silvermoon and the drummers of Sherwood Forest! This special occasion represents balance, renewal, and rebirth, as day and night hold equal length, ushering in the arrival of Spring. Join us in honoring the harmonious energies of the Goddess and the God—symbolizing fertility, growth, and new beginnings. Together, we will create a sacred space to celebrate nature’s awakening and embrace new opportunities within ourselves.
Friends of Faire pass holders will be welcome to attend, and to bring a plus one, along with the Sherwood Participant community. Gates will open for FOF members at 9:00pm and the ritual will start promptly at 9:30pm. The event will finish by 11:00pm and gates will close again at 11:30pm.

Hosted by the renowned Sherwood Cast, this hilarious Comedy Show relies on suggestions from the audience to create unique theatrical experiences. Come to the Falconry Stage late in the day to see it for yourself… please - because this troupe cannot take suggestions from empty seats.

Tanaquil of Avalon is an Irish lass who some say has communed with the faeries. How e'er she may have gotten her charm and her gift of gab, find Tanaquil at The Storytime Theater and all about the forest.

This highly skilled manipulator of objects uses juggling balls, crystal balls, full glasses of water, clubs, knives, and anything you could think of. Find this flame-flinging daredevil on Sherwood’s first two, and final two, weekends at The Washing Well Stage and The Combat Arena.
Sherwood is home not only to adventurers and royalty, but also to everyday people like crafters, merchants, travelers, and peasants. These friendly townsfolk are the Merry Band's welcome wagon.

The Riddlemasters of Hollow Hill have been entertaining faire-goers for more than five years. This mysterious couple has traveled here from the far North to bring their mixture of riddles, jokes, and trivia to the lanes of Sherwood on the Faire’s 1st - 5th weekends.

Your Village Laundresses, Daphne and her kooky cuz Cookie, shall scrub your funny bone and knock your socks off… into the wash that is! Find them at the Washing Well Stage for 27 minutes of pure bliss.
