The Falconer's Feast benefiting Knights of the Grail
This is a NEW event for 1199 A.D. (2020). King Richard's Master Falconer, Robert Cheseman, will host a grand feast in honor of the Knights of the Grail. You will experience the birds of prey flying INSIDE the Great Hall of Nottingham Castle! This is a unique opportunity with ample chance to handle and fly some of the Falconer's birds. Learn amazing history, hear interesting tales of hunts and training that you can only experience at the Falconer's Feast!
The Feast will include a multi-course meal and plentiful libations including beer, wine, cider, and of course Thorin's Mead.
Proceeds of the Feast will benefit the Knights of the Grail, a 501(c)3 non-profit charity that conducts equine therapy for military veterans and first responders. You can see the Knights perform their mounted skills demonstration at the Joust Arena at 11:15am and 3:30pm each day of the Faire.
Schedule
Master Cheseman will host one feast for a maximum of 80 people on Saturday April 11th from 8 pm - 10:30 pm.
